Silver Dollar City

 
Brian, Bree, and I headed to Branson last weekend for a short vacation. Bree had a blast at Silver Dollar City as you can probably tell from the pictures. She could of however done without seeing Santa...when we were walking up to him she kept saying "Don't Like". Oh well maybe next year!! She loves to see Christmas Lights and Trees!! If you have ever been to Silver Dollar City it is the most beautiful display of Christmas Lights..so she was in heaven. They also have a lights parade at dark that she LOVED!! It is amazing to see the joy of Christmas through the eyes of a 2 year old!! We have less than 5 weeks before baby Schafer will make its arrival!!

23 Weeks!

Bree's Pretty in Pink Room!!

Brian and I painted Bree's new room this weekend a lovely shade of pink!!! It turned out really good and she loves it!! We moved all her toys in her room so we now have our living room back. We need to get some curtains and something to put on the walls then it will be complete. Just in time because this weekend Brian and his dad are going to start tearing out the kitchen because our new kitchen cabinets will be in in a couple of weeks!!

Busy Summer

 

We have had a busy summer for us!! We have been traveling to Tractor Pulls all summer watching and helping dad pull his first pulling tractor the "Kansas Deere". Dad has really improved over the summer and it is exciting to watch and cheer him on. Bree likes cheering for her grandpa with her pink ear protection on!!!
A couple weeks ago Brian, Bree, and I went to Branson with mom, dad, Andrew, and Colby. We all had lots of fun going to Silver Dollar City, playing Putt-Putt, riding go karts and the Ducks!!
We are now 19 weeks along in the pregnancy, I will post pics next week at our halfway mark. :) I started feeling the baby move last week and Brian felt his first kick this weekend!! We can't wait for Bree to feel the baby move, who knows what her reaction will be.
This weekend we moved Bree to her toddler bed since we will need the crib for the new baby eventually. She really likes her new bed and is sleeping in it really well. Last night though, I went to check on her at 4:30 in the morning and she was on the floor at the other end of the room. Not sure how long she had been there, but she must of been to tired to make it back to bed so she just layed down and went to sleep. :)

Bree is going to be......

a BIG SISTER!!!! We are thrilled to let everyone know that we are expecting a new baby :) We are due on 1-11-11!!! This time around I have been feeling better than I did with Bree, but still have my bad days. I can't wait until I am through the first trimester so that this tiredness will go away. We think that Bree is going to make one good big sister, she seems to be a mother hen already. If I am not feeling well and laying on the couch she will give me her binkie, which just melts my heart.

Long Time No Blogging :)

It has been awhile since I have been on blogging!! Let's see what has happened lately....We have been really enjoying this nice weather, we are outside a lot!! Bree loves being outside and walking through thr grass and picking up whatever nature leaves for us. Brian and I recently went on our trip to Las Vegas and really enjoyed ourselfs. Bree was sick Wednesday through Saturday while we were gone, but we knew she was in good hands with grandma and grandpa Kipper, but she was on her mommy and daddy's mind the whole time. Brian nor I won big, so we came back to our normal lives :) Bree seemed to really enjoy her Easter, she really got into the egg hunt. Though we practiced at home picking up balls so she would know exactly what to do, by the 3rd Easter egg hunt she was a pro :) Bree has been changing so much lately, she now is trying to run, she is saying a lot more words, and LOVES to dance. Anytime a song comes on she just dances, it is adorable :) She is able to turn around in a circle and when she does she is pretty proud of herself.

Happy 1st Birthday Bree!!!

 

WOW!!! Our sweet little baby is one today!!! It just seems like yesterday we were rushing to the hospital to have her :( This first year has been a great year, she has changed our lives for the best!! We now can't imagine our life without her. She is now a walking, sometimes talking baby. She can be the sweetest girl ever!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREEZY!!!

Changes are Coming!!

 

Bree and her Buddy Tobie!! He loves to walk just fast enough that she can't catch him, then when she does catch him she usually pulls his tail, they have such love for eachother. He loves to lay there and let her pet him and touch his nose!!

 

Bree and her stuffed Zebra she got for Christmas from Santa!! She loves to give Daisy hugs and kisses!!!



Well now for the changes... I have accepted a position to work in Garnett doing Home Health. I wasn't looking at changing jobs, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to travel 4 blocks instead of 40 minutes a day. With my new job I will start at Garnett and travel to the surrounding counties and offer Physical Therapy in home for patients. I will miss my co-workers at Burlington tremendously!!!

Brian and I are going to Las Vegas at the end of March!!! I am excited to go, but not looking forward to being away from Bree for 5 days :( I am sure Grandma and Grandpa Kipper will have a blast hanging out with Bree. I am sure that I will be calling daily to check in and talk to Breezy or maybe we will be winning so big that time will fly by and we won't miss her too much!!

Visiting with Courtney, she fell on the ice and broke her ankle in 5 parts and her fibula. We came to cheer her up!!
 

We went outside today and took a few pictures since it wasn't too cold outside.

I am Behind!!

I know, I know... I said I was going to post a new pic every day, but I have gotten behind. Bree was running a small fever at the beginning of the week and now has a runny nose and a cough. The poor girl wasn't really up to getting her picture taken. Bree has really started to get a hang of the whole walking thing!! She can walk all the way across the living room now. The first picture is of Bree doing her favorite thing, go up the stairs. Notice did not say up and down, because Brian or I get our exercise going up the stairs and bringing her down. The next picture is of Bree being goofy while Brian was trying to take her picture. I promise I will be better next week.

365 Project!!

I am going to try and do a 365 day project of taking pictures!! We will see how long this last, but it will be fun to try. I am guessing that 99% of them will be of Bree since she changes so much in a short amount of time!! So look forward to my year in pictures!!!
